| The Rt Revd Dr John Mantle |
| Bishop John was brought up for a time in Dundee and was educated at the Theological College in Edinburgh before serving a curacy at St Mary’s Broughty Ferry. Later, following further study, he became Anglican Chaplain at St Andrews University and Priest-in-Charge of the East Neuk Churches in Fife. Later again he was appointed chaplain at Fitzwilliam College and New Hall in the University of Cambridge. After several other posts he was, in 1999, appointed Archbishops’ Adviser for Bishops’ Ministry in the Church of England, until his election as Bishop of Brechin in 2005 when he returned to Dundee. |

Vicar St. Anthony of Egypt (1991-7) and St. Peter's, Cowgate 1997-2002, both in Newcastle upon Tyne. 2002-2007 International Coordinator of the International Fellowship of Reconciliation, based in the Netherlands. 2007- Rector of St. Andrew's, Brechin and St. Drostan's, Tarfside and 2008- Dean of Brechin. |
| The Very Revd. Jeremy Auld |
| Jeremy Auld has family roots in Dundee but grew up in Perth. He studied theology and trained for ministry in Edinburgh being ordained deacon at St Mary’s Cathedral and priest at St Peter’s, Lutton Place where he was curate. Before that, Jeremy was a lawyer. Having trained in Edinburgh he went on to practise as a solicitor there and later as a barrister in the Fiji Islands – his wife, Christine, was born and brought up there. Before coming to Dundee to take up the position of Provost of the Cathedral, Jeremy was Rector of St James the Great in Dollar in the Diocese of St Andrews. He currently also serves as the Convener of the Provincial Committee on Canons which advises the General Synod on all aspects of Canon law. |
| The Revd Canon Fay Lamont |
| Mission orienated ecumenist, trained community worker, Deacon and Priest serving in ministry for 32 years mainly in housing schemes with 3 years curacy enjoying sun, sand and sea. Plays fiddle, guitar, reads, goes to the gym and gardens when time available. Likes all kinds of food and drink, eating out and and relaxing with friends. Watches the soaps, likes cooking, hates ironing. Desires to see the kingdom of God proclaimed, lives transformed and poverty eradicated.. |
| The Revd Canon Dr John Cuthbert |
| Canon John Cuthbert was made Deacon in 1992 and Ordained priest in 1993 in St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh, having studied at Coates Hall and New College, University of Edinburgh. Before that he worked for 10 years as a Research Fellow in the Department of Genetics at Edinburgh, investigating the causes of cataract. Six years ago he studied for an MTh with Prof. John Drane, then at Aberdeen University, on the topic of Challenges to the Church in a Changing Culture. He has been in the Brechin Diocese for over 5 years and was elected as Synod Clerk in Spring 2009. He is Rector of St Mary’s, Arbroath, and St Peter’s, Auchmithie, and is also Ministry Development Adviser (MDA) for the Diocese. As MDA, he delivers the TISEC (Theological Institute of the Scottish Episcopal Church) Seminar Course for those in the Diocese who are training for ministry either as Ordinands or to be Lay Readers. |
